FROM THE PROGRAM DIRECTOR
“Helping people through difficult situations has been at the heart of my career and has become my life’s calling. At The Hub, I have the opportunity to listen, identify the barriers individuals and families face, and connect them with support that helps them move forward. Removing those barriers is necessary and deeply rewarding. This work gives my life purpose and meaning.”

04
Keep Moving Forward
Follow-up at 30, 60 and 90 days helps track progress and identify any new needs.
A COMMUNITY STORY
Returning to work after more than 20 years.
After more than 20 years away from the workforce, Kimberly Pond connected with Marcia Jones at a job fair at Mount Carmel Church. Marcia continued supporting Kimberly through her employment search, and Kimberly ultimately secured a job.
“I first met Marcia at a job fair while I was seeking employment. She continued to assist me in my pursuit of finding work. I’m thankful for her positive attitude and willingness to help wherever she can.”
