Chuck Rowe

Interim Transitional Director

With over 25 years of experience in the nonprofit world, Chuck has spent time in administrating, fundraising, and programming with two of the largest and most respected nonprofit organizations in the country (Boys and Girls Club & The Salvation Army). His hands-on experience in the day-to-day operations and activities inform his decisions, and make Chuck a credible source for any nonprofit looking for guidance. His decades of experience and ability to connect with others, will be an asset when talking with your donors.

Marcia Jones

Hub Program Manager

Marcia Jones serves as a leader with ONE Cedar Valley’s Hub, advancing workforce readiness and economic mobility through cross-sector coordination, operational alignment, and barrier-reduction strategies for individuals and families in Black Hawk County. With over 20 years of experience in the insurance industry, including her role as a Senior Claims Adjuster with United Fire Group, she managed complex claims, conducted detailed investigations, evaluated financial risk, negotiated settlements, and ensured regulatory compliance. Her extensive background in risk assessment, documentation, conflict resolution, and stakeholder communication strengthens her ability to implement structured, accountable, and solutions-focused initiatives that support the Hub’s mission and long-term community impact.

Lori Dale

SHIPHT CTE & Entrepreneurship Academy Director

Lori Dale serves as the Director of the SHIPHT Career Technical Education (CTE) and Entrepreneurship Program, where she leads the design and implementation of career exploration, workforce readiness, and entrepreneurial learning opportunities for youth across the Cedar Valley. In this role, she supports students in building practical skills, industry awareness, and confidence through hands-on learning and partnerships with local employers and community organizations. Lori brings valuable experience from her work with UNI-CUE at the University of Northern Iowa, where she supported diverse student populations and helped foster inclusive learning environments. Her background in student engagement, cultural competency, and program coordination strengthens SHIPHT’s mission to connect young people to meaningful career pathways and entrepreneurship opportunities.

Sherman Wise

Road Home

Sherman Wise is a community leader and workforce advocate who serves as a leader with Road Home, an initiative focused on supporting justice-impacted individuals and families as they rebuild stability and reconnect to employment and community resources. He also serves as Branch Manager of Premier Staffing in Waterloo, where he works directly with employers and job seekers to connect local talent to meaningful work opportunities. His experience in workforce placement, employer relations, and career coaching strengthens Road Home’s mission by helping participants—particularly those navigating reentry—gain access to employment pathways, mentorship, and supportive services that lead to long-term economic mobility and family stability.
